D4stattoo is a custom tattoo studio in Bağcılar, Istanbul. With 4 years of experience we work across a wide range, from minimal tattoos to realistic portraits and from fine line to cover-ups.
Our approach
For us every tattoo is a story. Instead of picking from ready-made catalogues, we sit down with you, listen, understand your story and draw a design that is yours alone. We hold a free consultation before the session and finalise the sketch together.

Hygiene and sterilisation
In tattooing, safety and hygiene matter as much as beauty. Every session in our studio takes place in a sterile environment that meets health standards.
Our hygiene standards
Single-use needles: Needle, cartridge and glove packaging are opened in front of the client each session and disposed of as medical waste afterwards.
Sterile equipment: All non-disposable equipment is disinfected before every session and stored according to hygiene rules.
Surface disinfection: The work area, chair and all surfaces are cleaned with medical disinfectants before and after every client.
Single-use supplies: Ink caps, cling film, razors and tissues are new for every client.
Before the session
In the consultation we assess your skin, ask about allergies and explain the process step by step. Feeling safe matters to us as much as the tattoo itself.
After the session
At the end of the session the area is covered in a sterile way and you receive personal aftercare instructions. You can reach us on WhatsApp with any question while it heals.

Tattoo aftercare instructions
The lasting beauty of a tattoo depends on the care in the first weeks. Follow these steps and your tattoo will heal well and keep its colours for years.
First 24 hours
Keep the protective wrap on for the recommended time (2-4 hours, 3-4 days for special film).
After removing it, gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and unscented soap and pat dry with clean paper towel.
Apply a thin layer of the recommended aftercare cream.
First 2 weeks
Wash and moisturise the tattoo 2-3 times a day.
Never scratch or pick scabs; let them fall off on their own.
Stay away from pools, the sea, saunas and sunbeds.
Protect it from direct sunlight; cover the area if you have to be in the sun.
Avoid tight, rubbing clothing so the skin can breathe.
Long term
Keep moisturising after healing to keep colours vivid.
Use high-factor sunscreen in summer; UV rays fade colours.

Does getting a tattoo hurt a lot? +
Pain depends on placement, size and personal threshold. Wrist, ribs and top of the foot are more sensitive; upper arm and calf are quite comfortable. Most clients describe it as "less than I expected". You can take as many breaks as you like.
